St Georges Day at Greenshoots

Today we celebrated England’s National Day – St. George’s Day.

We learnt that St. George is the patron saint of England and that he was famous for slaying a dragon!

We coloured in pictures of St. George and coloured or collaged England flags with red

crosses.
