Fun at Greenshoots!

W/C : Monday 3rd June 2013

It has been a busy first week back after half term for the Greenshoots children. They have been trying out some new activities some of which included exploring with their feet! The children tried painting with their feet and exploring wet and dry sand by stepping into the different trays.

At the moment the Greenshoots children are very interested in dinosaurs, so this week we explored dinosaur eggs made of ice with
small dinosaurs frozen inside! It was really interesting touching the eggs and watching them melt!

We have also been learning about growing, so we planted our own cress seed in cups and yoghurt pots with wet cotton wool inside. We have put them on our window sill so that we can watch the seeds grow!
