Christmas Celebrations 2013

The Greenshoots children have had a lovely 3 weeks celebrating all things
Christmas! They have been singing Christmas songs, playing exciting games and listening to Christmas stories.

The children have all made lots of special Christmas items to take home, such as Christmas tree footprint cards, snowy church stained glass windows, holly
wreaths, collage Christmas trees and snowman and special reindeer food!IMG_4580

The children really entered into the Christmas spirit with our ‘Santa’s
workshop’ themed role play area. They greatly enjoyed dressing up as Santa’s
helpers and putting presents in the big sack!  We also had our own Santa’s sleigh and reindeer for the children to sit in and deliver all the presents!

The children and staff really enjoyed having Christmas dinner together. We had a lovely turkey roast and a yummy pudding! Plus we really liked the crackers with hats inside.

The Greenshoots children had a special visit from Father Christmas who brought them all a little Christmas gift. We know how busy Father Chrismas is at this time of year so we were very glad he took the time to visit our lovely children. Thank you Father Christmas!
