Today the Greenshoots children celebrated the start of the World Cup with their own football event!
There were lots of ‘football’ related activities for the children to try including colouring pictures and book marks, creating the own football collage, table football and goal scoring in our new inflatable goal!
Donna’s cousin James who is studying sports science at Marjons university came in to do some football coaching with the children which they really enjoyed. They got to practice many skills such as dribbling, shooting and scoring!
We also had England red cross themed face painting and England themed cakes and biscuits!
Thank you to all the parents that came along to support the event and thank you also for your positive feedback of the morning.
The Herald came along to cover the event and we were in the paper on Saturday 21st June. We are also featured on their website on 18th June so please take a look.
