Rhyme Time at Laira Library

Wednesday 15th October 2014
Today the Greenshoots children enjoyed a visit to the Laira library where they got to take part in a rhyme time session.

First the children had the opportunity to share and look at a range of books at the library. They then choose some books to take out on our library card so they could take them back to the preschool to share again later.

Next the children took part in an exciting rhyme time session with a member of the library staff. They sang lots of familiar songs and rhymes as well as learning one or two new songs. The children greatly enjoyed using props and scarves when singing and really enjoyed their visit.

Thank you to the parents who supported this visit and thank you to the Laira library for having us. We hope to visit again soon.
