At Greenshoots the trustees held our Annual General Meeting and showed a very interesting powerpoint presentation of some of the lovely things we have done over the last year. The powerpoint can also be found on our website.
Then Greenshoots children sang some festive Christmas songs to all the parents, grandparents and relatives that had joined us to watch. We wished everyone a ‘Merry Christmas’ and then the children did a little parade of their lovely Christmas outfits. Next we all enjoyed some refreshments.
The children had a special Christmas biscuit and a drink of juice. The grown ups had a yummy mince pie or Christmas cake and a hot drink. An enjoyable morning was had by all and everyone was very proud of the Greenshoots children who did a brilliant job with their singing.
Thank you to all who came to support us and for your effort with the children’s costumes. Mr. George recorded the Greenshoots children singing their Christmas songs and made a CD for us to sell. Each child made their own CD cover and we asked the parents to buy the CD’s for a very reasonable £1.50. We are going to buy some new resources for the preschool with the money that we made.
