Some of the Greenshoots children went out for a morning of Forest School
outdoor learning with Jason and Mr Blake. They all enjoyed a lovely walk to the Efford valley where they collected dandelion leaves for the chickens at the allotment. They also visited the lovely orchard to look at the trees.
After the children had collected their leaves they went to the Laira Green allotment to fed them to the chickens that live there. Jason found lots of different coloured eggs that the chickens had laid and the children had to guess what colours they would be! There were blue, green, white and brown eggs!
The children also enjoyed planting some purple mange tout with Jason in the Greenhouse and hope to enjoy this next time we visit!
