Summer Term 2015
The children at Greenshoots will be learning about under the sea this term.
The children will be participating in creative activities such as decorating fish,
making jelly fish and much more. They will be able to imagine that they are under the sea with our new under the sea themed role play area.
In the conservatory we have made an under the sea scene with netting and we are going to be making a pirate boat for this area.
The children have recently shown interest in pretending to be pirates and searching for treasure, so we will therefore be participating in activities relating to their interest.
We are also planning a ‘Pirate Day‘ where the children can dress up and go on a
treasure hunt.
Home Learning Task
We would also like you to join in with the under sea fun at home with your children. We thought you would like to be creative and see what models you can make relating to under the sea. Once you have made your under the sea creation we will display them within the preschool for all to see.
If you would like any more information please ask your child’s keyperson.
