Today Jacob’s Mummy Becky came in to teach the Greenshoots children some
French!
Becky introduced us to her French doll and she taught us to say “Hello” in French which is “Bonjour”. Next she taught us how to sing the song “Head, shoulders, knees and toes” in French “Tete, épaule, genou et pied.”
Becky brought looks of cuddly toys in for us to look at and we were able to sing the song and touch the head, shoulders, knees and
toes on the toys as we sang. We all enjoyed learning some words in a
different language and hope to learn some more soon!
