The Greenshoots children had a lovely time today celebrating our special pirate day. All of the children and the staff dressed up in fantastic outfits and had great fun taking part in an indoor and outdoor treasure hunt.
We went on a search for a treasure and the children were lucky enough to find a special chocolate coin inside a treasure chest. The children were able to make telescopes, treasure maps and we used empty bottles to make a message in a bottle. We also had fun pretending to be pirates and had fun role playing in our pirate ship, which the children enjoyed decorating.
We enjoyed some fish and chip crisps at snack time along with some other party food. The children enjoyed snack as they had their own pirate plate and cup and we had a special pirate table cloth.
