Today the Greenshoots children went out for a morning of forest school outdoor learning with Jason and Mr Blake.
The children enjoyed a lovely walk to theEfford valley. It was an adventure getting to the Valley down the forest path! Once we got to the Valley we saw the Bears’ Chairs and checked that there were no bears around! Next we sat down on some logs for a lovely snack and a little rest.
After snack time the children walked to the Laira Green allotment. We were able to try some fresh peas from their pea pods and some mangetout. The children then fed some of their leftover pea pods to the chicken that live at the allotment. Jason found some different coloured eggs that the chickens had laid and the children were able to look at and touch them carefully.
The Greenshoots children are already looking forward to their next visit in the
Autumn!
