Job Vacancy for a Wraparound Care Assistant (Playworker)
£7.21 per hour ONE POST TO COVER MATERNITY LEAVE (TERM TIME ONLY) Monday to Friday 7.50a.m. – 8.50a.m. and 3.00p.m. – 6.00p.m
Minimum 15 hours, maximum 20 hours per week to start February 2015.
Greenshoots Preschool and Wraparound Care, Laira Green Trust, C/O Laira Green Primary School, Bramley Road, Laira, Plymouth, Devon, PL3 6BP Greenshoots Wraparound Care provides a good quality breakfast club and after school club for children aged 3 to 11 years.
We are seeking to recruit a committed and experienced assistant. Duties will include supporting the daily running of our clubs, planning and carrying out activities, preparing resources, liaising with parents and carers, and the continuous monitoring of quality, standards and risk assessment.
It is essential that you hold a full and relevant Playwork or Early Years and Childcare qualification at Level 2 or above and previous experience of Playwork would be desirable. Ideally you will also have effective communication skills and a passion for maintaining high standards in childcare. This role could potentially be split between two people.
