Greenshoots children have been learning about seeds and plants. They planted a runner bean seed in individual pots and they are now watching them grow. All the children have their own pot and can now take them home!
We have also been learning how light and warmth makes the seeds grow. We have used the windows to make home-made greenhouses! Our runner bean seeds have been put by the windows so the children can now watch how the seed develops roots then grows a stalk and leaves.
