Greenshoots was chosen as one of three charities by the Co-op Community Fund to receive funding towards our outdoor provision. As you can see from the photos we have bought some new resources and given the fencing a lick of paint. So far we have bought some outside mirrors, a mud kitchen, picnic bench, sand pit and painted the tyres to transform them for small world play.
In addition we will have some outdoor blackboards mounted with the mirrors along with ball pool, water cascade and water tunnel – photos of these will follow. We hope your children are enjoying the re-vamped outside and will be telling you all about the fun they are having outside.
Huge thanks to everyone who is a member with the local Co-op and to the Co-op for choosing us. We were fortunate to be chosen again in order to get some IT resources for the children – there are still a couple of weeks left for you to become a member with the Co-op – every penny counts.
The children and staff have had a lovely time in the outdoors this week and it’s all thanks to the local Co-op and its customers.
