Product Recall: UPPAbaby – RumbleSeat
The following notice has been issued by the manufacturer:
![]()

Our top priority at UPPAbaby is the safety of children. We conduct extensive testing to ensure UPPAbaby products meet all global industry and regulatory standards. Despite passing all tests and meeting all standards, UPPAbaby has received reports about RumbleSeat adapters detaching from strollers that were sold prior to 2017.
We take all product inquiries very seriously and our Quality Compliance and R&D teams attempt to replicate circumstances that are reported. We have attempted, but have not been able to replicate the RumbleSeat adapter detaching. Based on consumers’ reports to us, we believe detachments are likely due to a combination of consumer misuse and the RumbleSeat adapters becoming detached when an older child excessively kicks the RumbleSeat from behind.
UPPAbaby is committed to providing consumers with the best product experience and continuously reviews product designs. For 2017, we designed RumbleSeat Adapters with an attachment element that locks, making it simple to attach. There have been no reports of any RumbleSeat adapter detachments with this new design.
Consumers who own a RumbleSeat (SKU #0252, #0186, #0191, #0200, #0216, #0196), manufactured between September 2014 and November 2016, will be provided with new 2017 RumbleSeat adapters. Those consumers who registered their RumbleSeats will automatically receive 2017 RumbleSeat adapters. If a consumer did not register her/his product, we recommend s/he click the ‘submit info’ button below [see UPPAbaby website] to receive new 2017 RumbleSeat adapters. This is not a recall. Recalls can only be announced by government agencies. This is a proactive initiative by UPPAbaby.
