The children of Greenshoots enjoyed a trip to the Tamar valley donkey sanctuary on Wednesday 12th December. It was a bit rainy on the day but that didn’t stop us from going out to meet the donkeys, chickens and goats on the farm.
Some of the children were brave enough to the stroke and feed the animals which they enjoyed very much! Inside the sanctuary itself we had great fun playing in the very big soft play area and we all went to the grotto to visit Santa. Whilst there, the children had a story with him and received a small gift.
Overall a wonderful time was had by everyone, thank you donkeys!
