We have been made aware of a product recall by the Early Years Safeguarding and Welfare Team.
Happyology are recalling these children’s garments due to potential safety concerns.
The products were on sale at the Happyology stores in Leamington Spa, Bath and Brighton from September 2018 to March 2019.
Recall: Happyology – Hadley Knitted Top, Sand
Ages 2-3 years, 3-4 years, 4-5 years, 5-6 years, 6-7 years
The garment has a decorative cord with a tassel that is attached to the back of the hood and this presents a potential entrapment hazard. Decorative cords are not allowed anywhere on the hood or at the back of the neck.
Recall: Happyology – Wilfred Baby Coat
Ages six months, 12 months, 18 months, 24 months
The product was on sale at Happyology stores in Leamington Spa, Bath and Brighton from September 2018 to March 2019.
The garment has long rabbit ears (approx 14.5 centimetres) on the top of the hood. These are considered to be decorative cords and present a potential entrapment hazard. Decorative cords are not allowed anywhere on the hood or at the back of the neck.
Happyology Ronnie Dress
Ages 2-3 years, 3-4 years, 4-5 years, 5-6 years, 6-7 years
The product was on sale at Happyology stores in Leamington Spa, Bath and Brighton from September 2018 to March 2019.
The garment has a tied belt (drawstring) which hangs below the lower edge of the garment and presents a potential entrapment hazard. If you want to keep using this product, you must REMOVE the belt from the dress.
The safety of customers and their children are very important and actions are being taken as a precaution.
If you purchased the affected products, please ensure your child stops wearing it immediately and return to any Happyology store in the UK for a refund.
