Experienced individuals to join Laira Green Trust as a Trustee –
Volunteer position
Greenshoots Preschool and Wraparound Care, Laira Green Trust, C/O Laira Green Primary School, Bramley Road, Laira, Plymouth, Devon, PL3 6BP
Laira Green Trust manages Greenshoots which provides a high quality, ‘Outstanding’ preschool and wrap around care within Laira Green Primary School.
We are seeking to recruit committed and experienced Trustees to join a small team of Trustees who oversee the operation of Greenshoots. Candidates ideally need to have experience or knowledge of Early Years and Business Management. In particular, the Trust is looking for a Treasurer and Secretary. This is a voluntary role and attendance at meetings very 6 weeks will be necessary.

young people, and expects all staff and Trustees to share this commitment. An Enhanced DBS check is required for this role.

Part Time – required to provide cover as required due to increase in number’s of children and to cover staff absence as needed – to be available to work across the week.

Greenshoots provides a high quality, ‘Outstanding’ preschool within Laira Green Primary School. We are seeking to recruit committed and experienced Early Years Practitioners to join our bank of staff who would be available to be called in to work with a small team of staff providing quality opportunities for children aged 2 – 4 years .
Candidates need to be creative, forward thinking and able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the setting. Due to an increase in numbers the setting is looking for staff who could support the existing team by joining our bank of staff who provide cover as needed.
It is essential that you hold as a minimum a full and relevant Early Years and Childcare qualification at Level 2. Recent experience of working in a childcare setting is also essential.
