Meet the Managers

Hello my name is Natalie and I am the Operations Manager at Greenshoots.  I have worked at Greenshoots for over 6 years now and I started here as the Deputy Manager.  I thoroughly enjoy my role as Operations Manager and you will see me at Greenshoots Tuesday-Friday – 8am-6pm.

I qualified in 2002 with my BTEC National Diploma in Early Year’s – Level 3 and have recently completed my Level 4 in Advanced Practitioner. I have over 15 years’ experience working with children in many different Early Years settings across Plymouth.

I have a passion for helping children develop to the best of their ability and ensuring that they are supported in their learning.   I also love to plan messy play activities for the children and love to get the children learning in the outdoors.

I aim to keep all children safe in a secure environment and aim to maintain high standards of safeguarding for all children who attend our setting.

I am also the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Co-ordinator at Greenshoots.  I have many years’ of experience supporting children who may have additional needs.  I work closely with the parents / carers and other outside agencies to provide the early intervention that is crucial for all children.

My name is Ellie and I am the Deputy Manager at Greenshoots. I have been a part of the Greenshoots team now since 2018 and I started as an Early Years Practitioner.

I began my career in 2011 and I have now worked in a variety of roles before Greenshoots such as an Early Years Teaching Assistant, play worker and a children’s party host.   I have also gained my Level 2, Level 3 and have a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Studies.

Working with children has always been my passion since I began my career and my enjoyment only continues to grow. I strive to ensure our learning environment is fun, exciting and enjoyable from start to finish.

I aim to ensure all children are safe and secure within our setting and as the Deputy Safeguarding Lead I help to ensure all safeguarding procedures are adhered to thoroughly.  Not only this, but as the senior lead in the room, I also make every effort to ensure all parents/carers feel listened to, reassured and well informed on their child’s progress consistently.
