Celebrating Diwali at Greenshoots – Diwali is the Hindu Festival of Light

 The children enjoyed making special Diwali Pictures with Diya Lamps on. They also made their own Diya Lamps out of clay, painted them bright colours and covered them with glitter! The children explored Rangoli patterns and learnt about story of Rama and Sita who are remembered at Diwali. We also made a Diwali display in the preschool to share our special work.
